Albany Post Road- HAZMAT

Units responded this evening to a report of diesel fuel in Dickey Brook adjacent to the Westchester Industrial Complex. AC Faiella requested Hazmat 3 from the Montrose VA Fire Department which assisted in placing booms in the brook. It was discovered heating oil/diesel fuel leaked into the brook from an unknown source and the spill was mitigated by units on scene.

Mutual Aid to the City of Peekskill

This afternoon Utility 12 was requested to the City of Peekskill for a 10-75. The fire was extinguished quickly by Peekskill Volunteer Fire Department and Peekskill Professional Firefighters Local 2343. Mutual Aid to Lake Mohegan FD

Mutual Aid to Lake Mohegan with U-4

At 5:30 am, Utility 4 was requested to a structure fire in the Jefferson Valley area of the Lake Mohegan Fire District. Utility 4 and Car 2552 responded and sheltered multiple displaced families from the rain and cold.

Buchanan units also assisted in Salvage & Overhaul and cleared the scene at 8:30 am.... (Full Story & Photos)
