Shortly after 8:30 A.M. this morning, Buchanan FD was dispatched to a working structure fire in the Continental Village Fire District.
Utility 12 handled this request along with Car 2551. While enroute the CVFD chief transmitted a second alarm assignment.

Members split up into two crews, one to assist with fire suppression, and one to fill breathing air bottles. Two of our interior firefighters assisted with stretching a secondary line to the first floor. Units operated on scene for over two hours. Additional members stood by in our headquarters to cover the village.
