February Recap

Here is a lookback at some incidents and other notable events that took place throughout the month of February.

On February 4th our first call of the month was a mutual aid request to the City of Peekskill. Utility 12 responded to the scene of a second alarm structure fire. Engine 160 relocated to the Peekskill headquarters, to cover the city.

On February 9th our new chief's vehicle was placed into service. This is a Chevrolet tahoe assigned as car 2551. Later in the evening our members attended a training with the WCDES special operations division.

On February 20th our members attended a training at the Rockland County fire training center. This drill was hosted by the Rockland County Instructors Association.

On February 22nd Utility 12 was requested to a second alarm fire in the Somers Fire District.

On February 23rd we handled a Motor Vehicle accident with extrication.
